I started in Listowel Ontario, I needed drinking money so I went up to see Sneaky Pete about a job, next thing I know I have given up my apartment and hit the road. I worked for Pete for about a season then jumped over to work for Grant Nicholson in rides. It was partly through that year that I jumped to the "big show" and joined Food Concessions with Jack. I spent one year with Food then went back into the games with Mike Corbett. Spent the rest of my days with Corbett and LOVED every second of my time there. If anyone remembers me and wants to talk old times feel free to contact me. I live in Palmerston with my husband and 3 yr old son and 13 yr old step-daughter. I would love to swap stories of days gone by.

Trevor and I are now living in Prince Edward Island. Life in the Maritimes is great. Travis is now 5 1/2, and Jasper turns 3 in August. Jasper has done remarkably well, and is like any normal 3 year old, a handful. Life was great on the road, but with all the changes with NAME we decided it was time to shift gears. A decision that was difficult but that ended up beign right. We miss everyone and hope to hear from lots of you.

As a kid on my own i worked Tom Faltash owner of two rides and enjoyed every minute of the the 5 years i worked fom him . Working as a carny and doing all the travelling and working with the the other carnies was a thrill of a life time. One big crazy happy family. I would do it all again , but the body is not what it use to be. If ya remember me - give me a shout. Brad Faltash was my road boss , as Tom didnt spend much time on the road with us. Anyone who had the pleasure of traveling with the show knows that was the life as a youngster.

Started to work for and Mr.Phillips and Steve Andrews back in Kingston as a ball boy, than moved on to the skee-balls for a while. Work on most of the Games then moved to the birthday game. Drove the big rigs from place to place. In 1978 I was moved to Manager of the games on the Bernard circuit.Enjoyed going to the convention every year at the Royal York. Steve and Alf would call me up January to come up to the X grounds and start painting things for the upcoming spring. In 1980 the head office started to make changes and I left the show. I enjoyed my time with Coklin Shows I can mention many names like Pat Marco, Barry Jamieson, Roy Coffing and his son, Greg, Tank Phillip, Greg Gravelle, Brian Riley ,Steve Choate, Scott Cranston, John Homeniuk and many more. I now own my own business in Toronto for the past 30 years and would still like to have a game, candy both or something on the road show. I do have many pictures of the show I was just looking at the 1978 newsletter volume 22. Brings back many happy times.
