My brother heard of the job hiring but turned it down at the last moment for a better job. I figure go apply and see what happens?...they hired me on the spot and was told to be back tomorrow to start (1st day) of the Canadian National Exhibition.I worked as ride operator on the Enterprise, but was occasionally sent in as a fill-in on The Flyer, The Chum Wildcat, The Jumbo Jet and The Zipper. CNE 1977 was a sad time as the world lost The King - Elvis Presley. Although not my favourite artist; I'm glad I didnt mind his music as, the ride foreman played an 8track of Elvis for entire shift, for the rest of the CNE
