Started as a balloon kid when I was 8 and I was warned that once it's in your blood you'll never get it out. Well this year; 2004 I was out for the full season in a Balloon Store. Had some ups and downs out there. The Wheel never stops turning and you will see me out there for years to come. CHEERS

I loved the years working with this fabulous show not only did I see a lotta country but I learnt so much about life in general. I started out at an early age of 7 with my dad when he traveled with another show called March Shows I started there as a joint jockey and grew from there.

I started off in Wpg where I worked in games . In Calgary I started to work for Mitch instead. I went all the way to toronto.I met Ed along the way and ended up having a daughter. I made lots of good friends along the way. Would love to hear from any old friends out there.

I started off working for Conklin Shows by applying for a ticket seller job in Toronto, I was 18.. I was offered a position in the Guest Relations Booth with John Gallant and fell in love with the carnival from there... learned how to live life.... how to love... and what it felt like to be part of a "family". I guess I had to grow up at one point and went on to University eventually, and I am now a Registered Nurse. I keep the lessons learned during my time with Conkin Shows more dear than any lesson learned in a class. I kept a scrap book of my last year on the road with pictures of lots of people and places... and I get to re-live it all when ever my kids bring out and ask me about it. :) Greeeeeeat time!

What can I say... I worked my butt off!! but we all did. The best year for me was 92, never forget it. This was the last year that the Flyer stood in Toronto. A bunch of us from the major's walked it one night as a good bye to a dying ride. Those of you that read this will remember, you know who you are. Missed most of all by me is Miss Pat Rice. The most amazing lady I have ever met! Would like to get in touch with old friends again, it's been too long. Miss you all!

Definitely a life time experience, and I would do it again if I was single....hoping to send my boy on the road when he's old enough so he can experience what it's like.
