Well were to start.....I was 13 and needed a summer job. My sister Cheryl had been travelling with Conklin for a few years before she got my first job working for Calvin in the fruit shakes stand. I am sure their is a few people remember those shorts we wore...... I was with them untill i was 15(2 summers). I remember i left because Calvin moved us girls from his motor home in to a truck he renovated...i didnt wait to see what it looked like, i just was not going to live in a truck! I went to work for Mitch as the original coke cup girl...I stayed there until i was 19...what a blast let me tell ya...PARTY!!! Florida soon became home! I now know if i hadn't worked for Mitch i would have never new what HARD work was... Bottom line it was hard at times, but the good times over road the bad ones...Thanks Mitch for every thing!!! My mouth got the best of me, so i soon left the Mitchel Family and moved on to Super dogs....My sister was in Florida working for Frank and Jodie. Things didnt work out the way Cheryl was promised they would, so together we went to work for Terry and Rusty. What a wonderful experience, what a family to work for, the very best ever.....Those guys walked me through some tough lessons in life, i know they didnt always agree in fact i know they didnt, but they always stood behind me. I do love them and will always hold them close, thank you for all of it and every thing.....I have met some amazing people out there, i believe my experience travelling has made me who i am!!! To all that remembers me, it was a honor to met you and a blast to party with you..... Funny how things change eh? I have always believed life is what you make it, so make it good and have very little regrets. I can still close my eyes time to time and hear the laughter and music coming from the rides and smell those home made corn dogs.......

I am so glad Conklin shows came into my life. I met some really great people. I was 13 when I started, and was immediately adopted by a bunch of ride jocks. Al , Gary ,John, Max. You know who you are! who kept me out of trouble over the years. Thanks a bunch!! I had great friendships and heartaches too, but those experiences are what makes me the person I am today. My favorite fair was West Springfield, Mass. they made the best wraps and had the best clam chowder.I just want to say thank you to all who touched my life. I am now married with two boys 13, & 9.

The Bingo Bigtop has always been the class of the rough and tumble carnie world, a quiet, & orderly oasis amid the shrill storm of midway attractions. It's a meeting place (Toronto in Ojibwa) where the tired and the hot, young and old, can settle into a comfortable place. I am the last of the "Ab-original Bingo Boys' - a batch of men and women from reserves, nbsp and cities across Canada who over the years worked at the bingo tent.

Wow.never knew such a dark little corner exsisted in the wide world of the web. But that's what you know after living in the sheltered little village called the fair.Started for some quick cash in Edmonton '98 and did an almost full circuit only to stop when I had my full blooded carny baby. I' ve worked for Mich in the coke cups and pizza for almost 8 years on and off and strayed sometimes to work w/terry and rusty in superdogs. tried games w/dave. Hi to one and all. Drop a line to the little redhead (sometimes blonde or black haired) girl w/ the big rack if you remember me. Lord only knows I would probably need to see you to remember you and if you want ice in your drink ;) cheers ...

I met many people who left me with some great memories and work ethics which I never lost. The travel and zest for life are still with me as I have ventured to the Arctic and the rain forests of Central America. The adventure does stay in your blood. Many friends have passed away and one day the show will go on again.

It was great travelling all over Canada!! Met lots of people and always wondered what happened to them including all the females. Young people should experience this once in their life. Long hours and lots of parties & locals.
